Cryptography Researcher (Remote)

=nil; Foundation has been at the forefront of Ethereum scalability solutions since 2018. With a mission to overcome the Ethereum scalability challenge, the team has been working on cutting-edge products such as =nil;’s native Proof Market, zkLLVM, and Placeholder, combining advanced cryptography, zero-knowledge technology, and database management systems. Now we are looking for an experienced Cryptographer, who has an experience or a strong interest in developing zkProof systems. RESPONSIBILITIES - Developing cryptography algorithms design including proof system design. - Design circuits for protocols’ state proofs for a proof system. - Academic writing. - Security analysis. - Research other solutions related to proof-system\circuits\other cryptography tasks. QUALIFICATIONS - MS with major in Applied Math or equivalent experience. - Deep expertise in cryptographic algorithms and primitives. - Peer-reviewed publications in cryptography, distributed systems, proof systems. - Understanding or experience in ZK proof techniques (for example, Groth16, Plonk, STARKs, Marlin). - The language is English, so you’re supposed to be at least B2 level. Decentralized Applications Developer (Remote)

As a Decentralized Applications Developer, you will participate in dApps development for connection zkRollup with Ethereum. It includes development of smart contracts for two executional environments: EVM on Ethereum side, and async EVM on =nil; side. RESPONSIBILITIES * Work on decentralized applications architecture and implementation. * Development integration modules between internal and external products. * Writing efficient, scalable, and reusable code; applications and PoC for our partners. * Cooperation with =nil; internal teams. QUALIFICATIONS * Relevant experience in decentralized applications development. * 3+ years of experience in development. * Familiarity with development for Ethereum (with Solidity). * Familiarity with asynchronous programming. * The language is English, so you’re supposed to be at least B2 level. Lead Backend Developer (Remote)

As a Lead Backend Developer, you will lead the development on communication modules between layer-2 solution and Ethereum using Golang. You will connect a set of cutting-edge solutions together: sharded blockchain, zk-proofs, Ethereum smart contacts, L1<>L2 composability protocol. RESPONSIBILITIES * Develop and maintain high-quality server-side systems. * Actively maintain and optimize these systems in production, ensuring efficiency and reliability. * Implement CI/CD processes. * Collaborate with team members for seamless integration of developed modules with validator node and smart contracts. * Monitor and troubleshoot issues in production environments. * Understand and review codebase of validator nodes to ensure compatibility and performance. QUALIFICATIONS * Proficiency in backend programming and server-side development (C++/C#/Rust, Python). * Willingness and readiness to transition to Golang as the primary programming language. * Familiarity with blockchain and decentralized systems technologies. * Experience with maintaining code in production environments. * Knowledge of CI/CD practices, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud services. * 5+ years of related experience. * The language is English, so you’re supposed to be at least B2 level. As a C++ developer, you' will participate in the development of the blockchain responsible for the high-speed generation of zk proofs for the Ethereum virtual machine. RESPONSIBILITIES * Implement new features and tests. * Collaborate with other teams: discuss cross-team questions, integration issues, and synchronization work. * Participate in design discussions. * Conduct technical research. QUALIFICATIONS * 5+ years of C++ experience. * Familiarity with Boost, CMake, Git, and GitHub workflows. * Experience in multi-threaded programming. * Experience in cross-process synchronization. * Familiarity with Unix OS. * BS or higher in Computer Science, Applied Math, or a related field. * Basic familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and primitives (digital signatures, hash functions, asymmetric encryption, commitment schemes). * Proficiency in English, at least B2 level. Senior Developer Relations Engineer (Remote)

The success of our business relies on the wide adoption of our technologies. This is where the Developer Relations team comes on stage. The purpose of the Developer Relations team at =nil; is to make engineers’ lives at work better. We do it by building the community, communicating with it about our technology, and returning feedback to our team. We also support our researchers and developers in all things related to technical communications and knowledge sharing.  We see DevRel Engineers as engineers who enjoy sharing technical knowledge just as much as they enjoy building things. Developer Advocates are the link between our company and the community of developers using our technology. You will communicate about our technologies, educate people in the community, and help them succeed. Just as well you will advocate for the community and deliver feedback to the company. As a Senior Developer Relations Engineer, you will be engaged in developing tooling and educational projects, writing blog posts, organizing events, speaking, and teaching others to speak. You will work closely with advocates and technical writers on your team, product owners, and other engineers. RESPONSIBILITIES * Coding decentralized and zk-provable “Hello world” apps. * Writing hardcore technical blog posts, tutorials, and educational courses. * Running live coding sessions, workshops, discussions, and Q&A sessions. * Speaking on meetups and conferences, both online and offline. * Organizing tech talks, meetups, and hackathons. QUALIFICATION A good candidate for this position: * Has experience in development, that can be proven with a link to a GitHub account. * Experience in Web3. * Experience in cryptography is good to have, but not a strict requirement. * A personal technical blog/Telegram channel/Twitter is a big benefit.  * Loves writing about technology. * Loves talking to people. * It’s great if you have a portfolio of talks on meetups and conferences, YouTube records, or teaching on online platforms like Coursera. * Has English C1 or better.
